This is to inform you that Star Steel, located at 9753 Eton Avenue, Chatsworth, California 91311 has successfully completed fabrication and installation of the custom motorized steel sliding gates at two of our facilities at the addresses listed below:

1. 18144 Devonshire Street (Granada hills service center) in august 1999.

2. 12300 Nebraska (west Los Angeles service center) in February 2001.

They have demonstrated good knowledge and excellent performance of the gate operations. The scope include construction of concrete foundations, gate post installations, motor installation on concrete pad with complete wiring, electrical loop installation in the pavement, and keypad installation for the ease of the gate operations. A requirement of the city of Los Angeles fire department was the installation of the lock box in compliance with the permit requirements.

I had the opportunity to witness the gate fabrication at their Chatsworth facility. The work was performed in a very professional manner including welding, fitting, and painting. The fabrication and installation was carried out a timely manner and in conformance with the drawings.
